  • Optional: familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization, such as WSL, KVM, Hyper-V, or VMware.
  • Optional: BIOS, Secure Boot, TPM, Network Boot, or PXE experience.
  • Optional: hardware and software drive encryption, such as LUKS or OPAL.
  • Optional: 2D and 3D visualization, ideally for defense use cases such as SIMDIS.
  • Optional: DoD and related system or software architectures and messaging standards, such as OMS, SOSA, or Link-16.
  • Optional: modeling and simulation, including hardware-in-the-loop and software-in-the-loop testbeds, such as DIS, VR-Forces, or AFSIM.
  • Optional: production software development and deployment using DevOps, DevSecOps, or CI/CD with modern FOSS and COTS toolsets.
  • Optional: full lifecycle software development of high-TRL systems.
