Description

The company is building a marketing function around a single client approach, aimed at clients, partners and prospects, with the goal of strengthening its brand and awareness across target audiences in a global role.

The role supports the sales organisation by helping execute the marketing strategy that positions the firm and Charles River (CRD) as industry leaders. It is a hands-on generalist position covering digital engagement, events (both in-house and industry) and asset development in a fintech setting.

You will partner with global marketing colleagues, sales and product teams to run campaigns that build awareness, engagement and pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and run integrated campaigns that match business and sales goals.
  • Produce marketing material such as blogs, insights, emails and digital campaigns, case studies, videos and presentations.
  • Keep timelines, briefs and daily execution on track so campaigns ship on schedule.
  • Help plan, coordinate and deliver global marketing events, including client events, industry events and the webinar programme.
  • Handle event logistics: timelines, registrations, venues, virtual platforms, suppliers and materials.
  • Coordinate before and after events, including invitations, follow-up messages and performance tracking.
  • Support on-site or live delivery so attendees and stakeholders have a high-quality experience.
  • Report on event results such as attendance, engagement, feedback and pipeline contribution.
  • Track campaign performance against agreed metrics such as engagement, leads and conversions.
  • Maintain marketing trackers, calendars and performance dashboards.
  • Use data and insights to refine marketing activity over time.

Requirements

  • A degree or equivalent in marketing, business, communications or a related field, or relevant transferable experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • A broad working knowledge of generalist marketing areas including campaigns, content, social media and events.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle several tasks and deadlines.
  • Clear written and spoken communication.
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Comfort using MS Office, data, trackers, AI and reporting tools such as Excel and basic dashboards.
  • Desirable: marketing experience within financial technology or a financial institution.
  • Desirable: familiarity with CRM or marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo or Salesforce.
  • Desirable: an understanding of digital analytics, for example for websites and social media.
  • Curiosity and a wish to learn about the investment management industry.
  • Attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in view.
  • A collaborative style and confidence working with many stakeholders.
  • An outcome-driven, practical approach to getting work delivered.
  • Development opportunity: the role offers strong progression toward a broader communications or marketing position, with exposure to global digital delivery and planning, events and asset development in a technology-led financial environment.

Conditions

Annual base pay range is $65,000 to $113,750.

The range applies to the primary location listed. If you would ultimately work outside that location, the applicable range could be different.
