Description

The company is an early-stage startup backed by leading venture capital firms. It builds foundational AI models for physics, aiming to replace slow, costly simulation with AI that matches its accuracy at far higher speed.

It targets hard engineering problems in automotive, consumer electronics, aerospace and energy, and it is looking for its first dedicated marketing hire to build and run the channels, materials and events that reach the engineers who need the technology.

Responsibilities

  • Run the company's marketing day to day as an execution role, turning the direction set by the GTM Lead into a steady stream of high-quality output across social channels, go-to-market materials and the events calendar.
  • Work with leadership, the GTM and technical account teams, and engineers and researchers to turn complex work with global OEMs, Formula 1 teams and aerospace innovators into content people notice.
  • Build the marketing function largely from scratch, using the existing brand system as your base.
  • Manage LinkedIn and other relevant channels: content calendar, copy, visuals, scheduling, community engagement and reporting, with a consistent voice and look.
  • Turn product releases, customer results, research and team news into posts, articles, case studies, one-pagers and short videos, checking technical detail with engineers and researchers.
  • Support the GTM team with decks, one-pagers, proposals, demo material and follow-up documents, and keep a current library of on-brand templates they can use.
  • Own the events calendar across industry conferences, partner events and executive dinners or roundtables, covering budget, sponsorships, speaker slots, booths, logistics, outreach, onsite delivery, follow-up and reporting.
  • Produce company-hosted events such as technical webinars, customer roundtables and launch events, from concept to follow-up.
  • Keep website news, case studies and careers pages current, maintain basic SEO, and run newsletters and email to prospects and partners.
  • Apply the brand guidelines to all materials and brief and manage freelancers or agencies for design, video and PR where needed.
  • Track performance across channels, content and events, report clearly on what works, and keep marketing data in the CRM accurate for the GTM team.

Requirements

  • Essential: 3-7 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally at a startup or scale-up and ideally in technology, software, engineering or deep tech.
  • Essential: a hands-on record of running company social channels, especially LinkedIn, including content planning, copywriting, visuals, community management and analytics.
  • Essential: proven experience planning and delivering B2B events and conference attendance from start to finish, including sponsorships, logistics and onsite work.
  • Essential: strong writing and editing, with the ability to produce accurate copy quickly and to make complex engineering clear without oversimplifying it.
  • Essential: working proficiency in presentation and design tools such as PowerPoint or Google Slides, Canva or Figma, and in everyday marketing tools such as CRM, email, social scheduling and web analytics.
  • Essential: daily, fluent use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT across your marketing work.
  • Essential: willingness and ability to travel for events across the UK and Europe, with occasional trips further afield.
  • Essential: a builder's mindset, comfortable being the first person in a function, setting up the system and then running it yourself.
  • Essential: pride in output, preferring ten strong posts and two excellent events over a single strategy deck.
  • Essential: genuine interest in deeply technical subjects such as engineering, simulation and AI. You do not need to be an engineer but must enjoy working with them.
  • Essential: organised and detail-focused, reliable across many deadlines at once, with a calm approach in a fast-moving team.
  • Highly desirable: experience marketing to engineering, manufacturing or industrial audiences in automotive, aerospace, energy or motorsport, or within CAE, simulation or engineering software.
  • Highly desirable: experience as the sole or first marketing hire at a company.
  • Highly desirable: short-form video production and editing for social media.
  • Highly desirable: working knowledge of a B2B CRM and a website content management system.
  • Highly desirable: experience with press, media relations and announcements.

Conditions

You report to the GTM Lead, who sets direction together with the CEO and COO.

Benefits

  • Real ownership of the company's channels, materials and events, with the chance to build the marketing function from the ground up.
  • Your work puts the technology in front of the engineers designing the next generation of sustainable transport and energy systems.
  • You would work alongside veterans from leading AI labs and strong engineering teams.
