Description

The Marketing Manager I/II, Consumer Marketing, will support the ongoing commercialization and growth of the Parkinson’s Disease brand by developing and executing consumer (DTC) marketing strategies and tactics that drive disease awareness, brand awareness, consideration, and conversion. This role partners closely with the Associate Director and Director of Consumer Marketing and with cross-functional stakeholders—including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Patient Services, Sales, Analytics and Performance Excellence (APEX), and agency partners—to deliver aligned, compliant, and impactful consumer marketing programs.

The ideal candidate is a collaborative, execution-oriented marketer who brings strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and executional discipline, and who can work effectively in a highly matrixed, regulated environment. This role offers hands-on experience across a multifaceted consumer omnichannel ecosystem and the opportunity to build deep experience across a broad range of marketing disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Consumer Strategy & Execution
  • Lead the development and management of DTC tactics designed to drive awareness, consideration, and conversion, with a strong emphasis on digital communications (e.g., website, CRM, social, paid media, video/audio, and direct mail).
  • Support the development and execution of consumer marketing plans aligned to brand and business objectives, ensuring consistent pull-through of brand strategy across all consumer channels and touchpoints.
  • Apply market trends, competitive dynamics, consumer insights, and data-driven analysis to inform and refine marketing strategy and patient segmentation.
  • Identify innovative opportunities to differentiate the brand and enhance patient and care partner education and engagement.
  • Media, Research & Measurement
  • Support media strategy and performance-driven optimization, embracing “test and learn” opportunities to reach key customer segments efficiently.
  • Support research efforts such as market surveys, focus groups, and consumer interviews to strengthen brand positioning, messaging, and differentiation.
  • Support the development of campaign measurement frameworks and evaluate performance against brand objectives and ROI.
  • Agency & Project Management
  • Set direction for and manage agency partners, including scope, day-to-day coordination, and oversight, to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Track and manage the consumer marketing budget in collaboration with the team.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Field Alignment
  • Build deep expertise in Parkinson’s Disease, the patient journey, the competitive landscape, and brand strategy.
  • Partner with Medical, Regulatory, Legal, APEX, and Patient Services to develop messaging and tactics that address patient and care partner needs and are compliant with the label.
  • Collaborate with HCP marketing and Sales leadership so that field insights are incorporated into consumer tactics and brand strategy is communicated consistently across HCP and consumer efforts.
  • Compliance & Operational Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with the company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Demonstrate the company’s Ways of Working, including “All for One the company” and “Make Possibilities Real.”

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Marketing experience with proof of building proficiency in core marketing skills such as creative development, positioning, segmentation, value proposition development, and investment optimization.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external agency partners.
  • Strong project management, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills; self-starter with attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.
  • Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of relevant marketing experience (Manager I/II level determined by experience); pharmaceutical or CPG experience preferred.
  • Prior consumer marketing or product management experience, including DTC mass media (TV, print, radio, web/digital).
  • Experience supporting an on-market brand.
  • Experience managing multiple external agencies, including creative, media, digital, database, and CRM partners.
  • CRM experience, including direct mail and email, and familiarity with social media platforms and their application in brand marketing.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organization and collaborating with HCP marketing and Sales teams.
