Description

Grade 18 or Grade 19, depending on your relevant experience, skills and overall qualifications. You may be based in New Jersey or Illinois.

The role covers planning and running healthcare professional marketing for the migraine franchise, with the goal of growing the business and helping more patients get treatment.

You will work with the migraine marketing team, sales force, medical affairs, market research, sales training, regulatory and other franchise teams. You will also work with agencies, consultants, key opinion leaders and co-marketing partners to hit launch goals.

The company discovers and delivers medicines for serious health conditions, with a focus on immunology, oncology and neuroscience, plus an aesthetics portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Build a clear picture of the patient so every marketing activity fits the target audience.
  • Create bold go-to-market plans that are new, workable and backed by clinical and financial evidence to grow migraine sales.
  • Turn brand strategy and customer insight into one omnichannel plan covering priority audiences, target behaviours, channel roles, content and a joined-up customer experience across personal and non-personal promotion.
  • Run omnichannel delivery across field and digital HCP touchpoints, including sales force materials, email, websites, paid media, virtual and live programs, point-of-care and newer channels, so content, timing and calls to action fit together.
  • Use customer feedback and research to track progress against brand milestones and recommend moves that improve brand performance.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional groups and external partners to keep strategy consistent and promotional material compliant with regulations.
  • Set up omnichannel measurement frameworks and use channel, content, engagement and business data to judge campaigns, refine the channel mix and customer journey, guide investment and protect return on investment.
  • Spot problems early and propose creative, innovative fixes.
  • Manage a share of the marketing budget for your area.
  • Juggle several complex projects with careful planning, attention to detail and follow-through, delivering quality work on time.
  • Review program performance regularly and suggest changes to strategy or tactics.
  • Explore new technologies for marketing within a regulated setting.
  • Keep the sales force updated on marketing programs.
  • Apply marketing methods such as brand positioning, brand architecture, SWOT analysis, competitive assessment, market research, objectives and strategies, and patient segmentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Proven marketing experience, with evidence you have built skill across all areas of marketing.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, with a record of getting results through others and influencing them.
  • Efficient project management, clear communication, sharp analysis and strategic reasoning.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitor practices.
  • Delivery against the annual goal plan, working in line with the company's ways of working and associated leadership attributes.
  • Preferred qualification: an MBA.
  • Preferred qualification: a minimum of 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry is required, with sales or marketing experience preferred.
  • Preferred qualification: hands-on experience running integrated HCP omnichannel programs in a regulated environment, including customer journey design, audience segmentation, channel planning, content orchestration, and campaign measurement and optimisation.
