Description

You will cover parental leave as Marketing Lead for brand, event and B2B marketing, running the team for Germany and Austria and supporting the Swiss team as well. The role keeps current initiatives moving while the team stays aligned with global guidelines.

The GSA marketing team handles marketing across Germany, Austria and Switzerland, covering both B2B and B2C work for clients and for the company's own brand. Its goals are to keep existing clients, raise revenue and win business in current and new verticals.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover role, reporting to the Director Marketing GSA within the Marketing GSA division.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the brand, event and B2B marketing team across the GSA region, covering both functional and disciplinary matters.
  • Own the development and day-to-day delivery of the brand, event and B2B strategy for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, within the global strategic and brand framework.
  • Keep local activity consistent with global guidelines, working closely with the EMEA team.
  • Receive and prioritise incoming global campaigns, creative material and guidelines, and make sure the team implements them on time.
  • Manage the marketing budget for your area.
  • Agree strategic priorities and resourcing with the Director Marketing GSA.
  • Keep ongoing campaigns, events and B2B initiatives running without interruption.
  • Lead, develop and coach team members, covering both functional and personal development.
  • Drive brand awareness and brand preference in the GSA market.
  • Manage external agencies and partners at a strategic level.
  • Work across Content, Community, CRM, Performance Marketing and Sales, as well as the Swiss team.
  • Report to the Director Marketing GSA on team performance, campaign results and budget.

Requirements

  • Several years of leadership in marketing, ideally in brand, event or B2B marketing.
  • Proven experience leading a team on disciplinary matters.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources.
  • Experience working with international teams and corporate structures is a plus.
  • Confident stakeholder management at all seniority levels.
  • Fluent German and very good English.
  • Experience in entertainment, live events or ticketing is a plus.
  • A high level of ownership and resilience, and the ability to get up to speed quickly within existing structures and projects.
  • Strong people leadership: you guide, motivate and develop a team with a positive, constructive attitude.
  • Clear communication, adapted to audiences from team members to the Director Marketing GSA and cross-functional partners.
  • Confident decision-making: you set priorities and keep work moving under time pressure or when circumstances shift.
  • Adaptable, quick to learn an existing team, ongoing projects and established ways of working.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability, comfortable taking over a running operation and keeping it stable.
  • Calm and resilient under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
  • Creative and commercially minded, balancing brand consistency with practical business needs.
  • Collaborative and diplomatic, quick to build trust with the team and stakeholders.
