  • Produce market forecasts and reports covering the short and long term, directing research and analysis.
  • Create new strategies for existing events by analysing market statistics and data.
  • Plan advertising for tours, festivals and single shows, including press releases, media coverage, ad materials, radio spots, festival art, posters, banners and videos.
  • Work with the booking team to pitch artists on performing with AEG Presents, and develop new promotion and artist engagement ideas.
  • Work with PR agencies and record labels on press releases, interviews, day-of-show press lists and artist availability for promotions.
  • Negotiate with artist management and handle budgets with your supervisor.
  • Flag short- and long-range issues, recommend options, and carry out decisions.
  • Build relationships with artists and their management by attending events, lunches and meetings.
  • Keep up your professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking and professional bodies.
  • Follow up with media and artist management on extra marketing chances that could lift ticket sales.
  • Act as liaison with media, venues, vendors, record labels and artist management.
  • Submit ticket holds for promotions, media and artist management to the ticketing department, and possibly distribute daily ticket counts.
  • Work with legal on sensitive material and vendor contracts.
