Description

The gastro team needs a Marketing Associate Assistant to keep a busy business unit running smoothly and to help the team meet its goals.

You will work across the brand, field and medical teams, which gives you wide exposure to business activities and brand projects.

The role suits someone building experience in pharmaceutical marketing, or someone with relevant experience who wants to shape the role with their own ideas.

Responsibilities

  • Own the financial administration: record marketing (PromoMats/IFT) and vendor spend accurately, raise SOWs and POs, and track invoices so the team has a clear view of the budget.
  • Work with the Brand team to turn their plans for internal and external events into reality, covering logistics, venue bookings and hospitality, and attend events to check delivery.
  • Act as the team's daily point of contact by handling complex diary management, scheduling meetings, taking useful minutes and spotting operational problems early. Support the Business Unit Manager and Brand Team in this.
  • Work with the Professional Relationship Manager to arrange HCP support for the company conferences. Handle PSA contracts for individual HCPs, arrange their payments, and liaise with agencies on engagement paperwork.
  • Help the marketing team meet internal compliance requirements in systems such as PromoMats and MAP, support the withdrawal of materials, and keep records ready for audit. Full training is provided for quick learners on all the industry systems used.
  • Lead on team culture by organising the onboarding of new members, making sure they have their materials and meeting schedules and feel well supported from their first day.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in science or life sciences, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Additional marketing qualifications are an advantage but not essential.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • Clear, confident communication and the ability to build good working relationships across teams.
  • Sound judgement in setting priorities and keeping work on track when things change.
  • A proactive approach to improving processes and finding practical solutions.
  • Professionalism, accountability, curiosity and a commitment to learning and continuous improvement.

Conditions

The role is based at the UK offices in Maidenhead.

The office has a large car park, step-free access, accessible restrooms, lifts, assistive technologies, adjustable workstations, and a quiet zone with natural light and low noise.

Let the company know about any accessibility needs during the application process.

Eligibility is limited to the US and Puerto Rico.

The company is an equal opportunity employer welcoming applicants of all backgrounds, including veterans and disabled people.
