Description

The company was founded by fans and delivers anime art and culture to a passionate community. It reaches over 100 million anime and manga fans in 200+ countries and territories, through streaming video, theatrical releases, games, merchandise, and events, both online and in person.

The role oversees the operational execution, trafficking, and delivery of creative marketing assets across the global marketing organization, making sure finished assets are accurately prepared, governed, distributed, and received in every market and channel.

You will set up and run scalable production and delivery workflows that give the team one source of truth for final assets, better visibility into deliverables, and a faster path from production completion to global activation.

You will work across Integrated Planning, Marketing Versioning, Regional Marketing, DAM and asset repository teams, Localization and Adaptation, Creative, and other stakeholders to set clear ownership, delivery requirements, handoff expectations, and escalation paths.

The role sits within Distribution Operations, Content and Marketing, and drives process improvement and workflow governance to cut delivery friction, make assets easier to find, reduce versioning defects and rework, and speed time to market.

Responsibilities

  • Run the end-to-end delivery of original and versioned creative marketing assets across campaigns, channels, and markets.
  • Confirm destination, market, deadline, recipient, format, and repository requirements before any trafficking starts.
  • Set standard processes for trafficking, delivery, receipt confirmation, and escalation.
  • Define clear meanings and status labels for production complete, delivery ready, delivery complete, and regional acceptance.
  • Make sure final assets have correct names, version status, metadata, repository location, and other delivery details.
  • Track outstanding deliverables and spot missing, incomplete, or wrong assets before they cause problems.
  • Work with Regional Marketing to secure asset receipt and resolve delivery issues on time.
  • Define where centralized asset delivery ends and regional activation begins.
  • Document and keep improving scalable production and delivery workflows.
  • Find friction points in the process and fix them to improve efficiency, consistency, and speed.
  • Drive adoption of shared tools, workflows, and governance practices across teams.
  • Move people away from unmanaged channels such as email, chat, and personal storage toward governed repositories and workflows.
  • Find routine trafficking, status reporting, and delivery updates that can be automated.
  • Build and maintain a roadmap that closes gaps in DAM, metadata, workflow, and repositories.
  • Act as the main contact for Marketing Production Management on high-priority, high-volume, seasonal, and multi-IP initiatives.
  • Turn Integrated Planning's campaign deliverable plans into actionable trafficking and delivery plans.
  • Set acceptance criteria with Marketing Versioning so assets move from creative completion to delivery readiness.
  • Agree receipt, acceptance, localization and adaptation, and escalation expectations with Regional Marketing.
  • Work with DAM and Enterprise Technology on repository governance, metadata standards, permissions, workflow needs, and platform issues.
  • Bring teams together to resolve unclear requirements, ownership, or timelines.
  • Plan and prioritize internal and external production resources by volume, complexity, timing, and priorities.
  • Coordinate high-volume creative work across designers, art directors, motion designers, agencies, and other partners.
  • Lead priority projects that span several internal teams and outside agencies.
  • Track capacity, dependencies, deadlines, and risks so critical assets ship on time.
  • Raise delivery risks and operational issues early, with clear recommendations and next steps.
  • Set and maintain standards for naming, metadata, versioning, final-status marking, destination, receipt confirmation, and escalation.
  • Track and report on delivery timeliness, versioning defects, asset findability, receipt confirmation, rework, repository issues, and other operational KPIs.
  • Find recurring problems and fix their causes instead of applying one-off workarounds.
  • Write clear documentation and governance practices that keep accountability across the asset lifecycle.
  • Keep workflows aligned with changing organizational goals, business needs, and new technology.

Requirements

  • Preferably, you have worked in the anime, media, entertainment, or streaming industry.
  • You have 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, project management, marketing production, or a related field.
  • You have 5+ years of experience managing creative or media assets in print, digital, static, and A/V formats.
  • You have run high-volume, complex, cross-functional creative production workflows.
  • You understand asset lifecycle management, versioning, trafficking, delivery, and repository governance well.
  • You have built processes, workflows, and operational standards in a fast-paced organization.
  • You can manage several priorities, dependencies, stakeholders, and deadlines at once.
  • You communicate well, build relationships, and create clarity and accountability across teams.
  • You have worked with internal creative teams, external agencies, and distributed global stakeholders.
  • You are proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration and project management tools.
  • You have advanced project management skills and can turn complex business requirements into clear workflows and plans.
