Description

The company is an AI marketing platform that is growing faster than any other in its category. It is used by 15% of the Fortune 500, including Comcast, Estée Lauder, Walmart, Ramp, MongoDB and Figma. Marketing teams use it for research, briefs, content, campaigns and reporting in one place, with agents that take on repetitive work.

The platform is built on over 2B real user prompts, which show what people ask AI tools and how the models respond. The company's AI Marketer combines that data with detailed customer context to surface opportunities worth acting on. It then runs agents for reporting, content drafts, page readability audits and competitive research, and it tracks results and improves over time.

In April 2026 the company introduced the Marketing Engineer role to its marketing organization, aimed at marketers who build systems rather than run manual processes. Since then, companies including Google and Figma have started hiring for it, and hundreds of people have earned certification through the company's training program.

The team is being built to bring Marketing Engineering to large brands and to agency and consulting partners. As manager, you will lead and grow this team and set how the company works inside customer marketing departments. You will own whether the workflows your team builds become a regular part of customer work.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit experienced marketing practitioners, run their onboarding and coach them into effective builders who work with customers.
  • Work onsite on selected customer engagements alongside your team, and build relationships with senior marketing leaders.
  • Set account goals, review usage and coach the team on what to change to get better results. Separate delivery problems from customer or product limits and help resolve both.
  • Define how the team learns customer needs, chooses applications, builds on the platform, checks output quality and trains users. Adjust the approach based on what works.
  • Help the team judge the quality of marketing output, form clear recommendations and gain the trust of practitioners and executives.
  • Work with the partnerships team to help agencies and consultancies adopt the platform within their own teams and client services. Define clear roles on shared customer projects.
  • Align with Engagement Managers on account priorities and delivery, and with Account Managers on commercial opportunities. Decide where your team's time will have the most effect.
  • Bring in Agent Engineering for complex builds and reliability problems. Help the team record product barriers and work with Product and Engineering to remove them.
  • Turn proven applications into templates, training and playbooks that customers, partners and internal teams can use without help.

Requirements

  • 8 to 12 years working in marketing or closely with marketing teams, whether in-house, at an agency or consultancy, or in a martech or consulting role. You understand marketing priorities and can judge the quality and business value of work. Expertise in a specific industry or marketing discipline is a plus.
  • 3 to 6 years managing or formally leading practitioners, ideally in a customer-facing or consulting team. You can hire and grow strong people, set clear priorities and coach others to lead customer conversations and deliver results. You are comfortable setting up how a new team works while staying hands-on.
  • You are comfortable learning technology and applying it to marketing problems, and you can help others do the same. Experience with AI, automation or marketing platforms is a strong plus. Coding is not required. You can tell whether your team's work solves the customer's problem and know when to bring in technical experts.
  • You learn tools quickly and deeply and want to become an expert in the platform. You will use that knowledge to coach your team and keep delivery standards high. The company University certification is a plus.
  • You earn trust with practitioners and senior marketing leaders, lead executive conversations and help your team handle complicated customer relationships. You are comfortable working on site regularly and collaborating directly with agency and consulting partners.
  • Experience as a Marketing Engineer, working with agencies or consultancies, or hands-on use of tools such as HubSpot, Marketo, Braze, Segment or Clay is a plus. Python, SQL or JavaScript is a plus. A record of building things counts more than a computer science degree.
