Description

The company's learning academy helps customers, partners and colleagues work confidently with its platform through online courses, instructor-led sessions and custom digital resources.

You would join the Design & Publish team in Education Services, turning complex technical subjects such as data, analytics, software and FinTech into clear, engaging and accessible learning. You would take each project from the first talk with a subject matter expert to a finished, published product.

The company is no longer a start-up, yet it has not existed for very long. 41% of colleagues come from an ethnic or religious minority background, and staff speak over 20 languages across 47 nationalities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and revise learning for customers, partners and staff, including eLearning, media, articles, documentation and slide decks, using several authoring and design tools.
  • Apply accessibility, visual design and user experience standards so each learner finds the content easy to use.
  • Build learning paths in the Learning Management System, letting learner feedback and usage data guide your choices.
  • Use AI tools to speed up research, drafting and checks, with a person reviewing the output for accuracy and fit with learning goals.
  • Work with subject matter experts, Product, Delivery and R&D to understand the platform and turn that knowledge into training.
  • Keep your courses current as the platform changes.
  • Review technical documents, demos, recordings and learner feedback to confirm the content is correct and strong.
  • Plan your projects independently, flag risks and blockers early, and keep stakeholders updated.
  • Use Confluence, Jira, SharePoint and Asana for tasks, documentation and teamwork.
  • Propose and lead new tools, processes or AI methods that improve design and the learner experience.
  • Give feedback and share knowledge with teammates, leading projects where that helps.

Requirements

  • Essential: Hands-on experience building learning content with authoring and design tools, such as Articulate Rise.
  • Essential: Working knowledge of graphic design, UX, accessibility and media design.
  • Essential: Sound understanding of learning theory and instructional design.
  • Essential: Experience designing technical or complex training in areas like FinTech, analytics, data science, data engineering or software development.
  • Essential: Clear, concise writing that explains complicated information well.
  • Essential: Confident use of Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Essential: Experience with GenAI for content, automation or productivity, or a real curiosity about it.
  • Essential: Strong organizing skills to juggle several priorities and adjust when needs change.
  • Essential: A collaborative, proactive, solution-minded approach and the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Desirable: Experience with an LMS and using learner data or feedback to improve content.
  • Desirable: Experience coordinating projects with several stakeholders.
  • Desirable: Experience mentoring or sharing knowledge, or an interest in doing so.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Confluence, Jira or Asana.
