This is a senior architecture role setting the architecture direction for enterprise customer experience, customer data, digital engagement, AI-enabled solutions and cloud-native platforms.

You will lead architecture across large transformation programs, shaping future-state platforms for personalized customer experiences, intelligent insights, scalable digital products and business value.

You will work with engineering, product, data, security and business leaders to set architecture standards and technology roadmaps, using cloud, AI, automation and composable architecture to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Set the enterprise architecture strategy, target-state roadmaps and modernization plans for customer-facing platforms and digital ecosystems.
• Lead the design of Customer Data Platforms, customer engagement solutions, behavioral analytics and transactional data systems.
• Design scalable cloud-native solutions on Azure using microservices, APIs, containers, Kubernetes and event-driven architectures.
• Define enterprise integration strategy using APIs, middleware, messaging platforms and composable architecture principles.
• Lead the adoption of AI, Generative AI, machine learning, recommendation engines, search intelligence and advanced analytics across customer experiences.
• Make sure architecture decisions meet standards for security, compliance, resiliency, performance, observability and operational excellence.
• Work with engineering teams to put DevSecOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code and Site Reliability Engineering practices in place.
• Mentor architects and technical leaders, and advise executives on technology strategy, investment decisions and innovation opportunities.

Requirements

• You have 10+ years in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, software engineering or technology leadership on large enterprise platforms.
• You have designed and delivered enterprise application architecture and cloud-native solutions.
• You have deep cloud platform experience, preferably with Microsoft Azure.
• You have worked with microservices, API architecture and enterprise integration patterns.
• You have a strong grasp of event-driven architecture and distributed systems.
• You have led architecture governance, technology standards and enterprise roadmaps.
• You can explain complex technical decisions clearly to executives and non-technical stakeholders.
• You hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Nice to have: experience with Customer Data Platforms, customer insights, customer analytics, transactional systems and behavioral data platforms.
• Nice to have: expertise in search intelligence, recommendation engines, personalization technologies and analytics engineering.
• Nice to have: experience with AI, Generative AI, machine learning platforms and AI integration patterns.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, service mesh and platform engineering.
• Nice to have: expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
• Nice to have: experience with observability platforms, reliability engineering, monitoring and operational excellence frameworks.
• Nice to have: knowledge of data architecture, data governance, streaming platforms and modern data ecosystems.
• Nice to have: certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or Kubernetes, or equivalent.

Conditions

Base pay range is €82,500 - €137,500.

Pay depends on performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market reviews and geographic market, and stays compliant with applicable regulations.

Other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities, may be offered in addition to base pay.
