This is a lead role combining hands-on engineering with leading a team of developers. You will work across the full software development lifecycle on enterprise web applications in a regulated financial setting, turning business needs into scalable, compliant, and high-performing solutions.

The team values respect, merit-based advancement, and diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of up to 12 developers, setting task assignments, tracking delivery timelines, and reviewing individual performance together with the assigned Technology Project Manager.
  • Record project billing hours and keep project financials accurate and up to date across the engagement.
  • Join grooming sessions with business partners, architects, and analysts to turn requirements into clear user stories, estimate technical effort, and agree on priorities and timelines.
  • Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly web interfaces with.NET Core MVC, ASP.NET, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS, following enterprise UI standards and accessibility practices.
  • Design and implement scalable microservices, RESTful APIs, and automated workflows that connect multiple APIs, databases, and application UIs.
  • Design and maintain scalable database schemas, stored procedures, and functions on both relational and NoSQL platforms.
  • Manage code promotion, keep SDLC compliance artifacts current, maintain clean repositories, and make sure developer contribution metrics are met.
  • Take part in UAT cycles and fix defects quickly to protect release dates and quality.
  • Drive CI/CD and DevOps tooling adoption, improving build, test, and deployment automation over time.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with proven skill in frontend work using.NET Core MVC, Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS.
  • Strong hands-on experience building microservices and service-oriented systems with.NET Core and ASP.NET, and a solid grasp of microservice design patterns.
  • Proven ability to design and integrate RESTful APIs across distributed, multi-platform enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in database development on MS SQL, Oracle, and Couchbase, including schema design, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Experience managing or mentoring developers and coordinating delivery across several workstreams and stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum setting.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Harness, Tekton, and GitHub, plus hands-on work configuring CI/CD pipelines and automating deployments.
  • Experience handling SDLC compliance artifacts, code promotion workflows, and repository hygiene in regulated enterprise environments.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks, preferably Selenium, supporting quality assurance and UAT.
  • Exposure to container technologies and OpenShift for deploying and scaling applications.
  • Familiarity with AI fundamentals, including prompt engineering and model interaction, ideally within enterprise financial technology tools.
  • Bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
  • The role description is a high-level overview, and other job-related duties may be assigned as needed.
