Lead .Net Developer (VP)

Description

The company runs FX Hub, the central order management system that captures, enriches and routes all Securities Services FX orders across its custody network.

The FX Hub Technology Team is looking for a Lead to design, develop and manage delivery of solutions that match the business's strategic direction over the coming years.

This is a senior applications development role that sets up and implements new or revised application systems alongside the technology team, leading systems analysis and programming work.

The company operates in more than 180 countries and moves around $5 trillion through its network each day.

Responsibilities

• Work with several management teams to integrate functions toward shared goals, and identify and specify system enhancements that enable new products and process improvements.
• Solve high-impact problems and projects by thoroughly evaluating complex business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Bring deep applications programming expertise and ensure application designs follow the overall architecture blueprint.
• Use detailed knowledge of system flow to set standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation.
• Build a thorough understanding of how business areas such as architecture and infrastructure fit together to reach business objectives.
• Analyse issues in depth and use interpretive thinking to devise original solutions.
• Advise and coach mid-level developers and analysts, and assign their work as needed.
• Assess risk carefully when making business decisions, protecting the firm's reputation and the company's clients and assets, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations and policy, using sound ethical judgment, and escalating and reporting control issues transparently.

Requirements

• Substantial experience in applications development or systems analysis.
• Strong proficiency in.NET Core, T-SQL, React.js and Kafka.
• Proficiency in REST APIs, WebSockets, Microsoft SQL Server 2019/2022, OpenShift, Docker, microservices, GitHub and AI tooling.
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
• Experience delivering projects successfully and managing them, with subject matter expertise in at least one area of applications development.
• Ability to reset priorities quickly as circumstances change.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication at all times.
• A bachelor's degree or university degree, or equivalent experience.
• A master's degree is preferred.

Conditions

Full-time role based in Dublin, working a hybrid model with up to 2 days per week working from home.

Base salary range of €93,280.00 to €139,920.00, reviewed annually.
