Description

The company is building an AI-first business, beginning with how it supports and scales its people. The Finance Technology team within G&A is hiring a Senior Integrations Engineer to manage integrations across Finance systems.

As an early leader in this space, you will help redesign how Finance works in an AI-first setting by shaping architecture, standards and long-term direction.

You will work with Accounting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Procurement and Internal Audit, plus Corporate IT, Data and GTM Systems, to keep the back-office stack dependable, connected and compliant as a publicly traded SaaS company that leans heavily on AI.

The team owns the roadmap, health and governance of the ERP and financial systems, procure-to-pay tools, revenue and billing systems, and related integrations and automation. The role takes an AI and automation approach, not just the use of integration platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build Workato integrations for business-critical projects.
  • Keep business-critical integrations running by resolving ME/QE and operational issues.
  • Lead SOX audits through to closure.
  • Find and deliver other automation work that raises business productivity.
  • Rethink core Finance workflows, including accounting, procurement, deal desk approvals, revenue and the ME/QE close, with AI at the center rather than small incremental gains.
  • Build AI-powered workflows, copilots and agents that automate and support Finance processes.
  • Enable AI use cases such as copilots, assistants and automated workflows that speed up Finance execution and improve decisions.
  • Turn unclear business problems into scalable AI and automation solutions with stakeholders.
  • Find high-value areas where manual work can be replaced with automation and AI-native tools.
  • Set and track metrics for efficiency, time saved and operational effectiveness.
  • Work with Internal Audit, Security, Legal and Global IT so AI is deployed in a compliant and ethical way.
  • Align with Security, Global IT and GTM Systems on shared infrastructure and standards.
  • Make Workato usable for Finance teams by building reusable frameworks, workflows, playbooks and training materials.
  • Help non-technical colleagues use and improve Workato and other platform tools with confidence.

Requirements

  • Show curiosity and drive to experiment with and reimagine Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record to Report workflows.
  • Have 5+ years of engineering or data engineering experience, including 2+ years building Workato, AI/ML or LLM-powered systems that produced clear business results.
  • Have a record of setting technical direction and building 0-to-1 systems with real organizational impact.
  • Have strong experience with Workato or a comparable platform, Python, SQL and modern APIs.
  • Have worked with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Claude and Gemini.
  • Have designed AI-powered workflows, agents or copilots.
  • Have integrated Finance systems through Runlayer and MCPs.
  • Have experience integrating with enterprise financial SaaS systems.
  • Have designed scalable systems, automation frameworks and internal tools.
  • Have worked with sensitive data.
  • Can turn ambiguous business problems into scalable technical solutions.
  • Use AI responsibly, with attention to privacy, security, bias and human-in-the-loop review.
  • Bonus: experience with financial systems such as NetSuite, Zip, Avalara/Vertex, Zone Advanced Billing or equivalent systems.
  • Bonus: familiarity with SOX and ITGCs.
  • Bonus: familiarity with middleware automation platforms such as n8n, Workato or Zapier.
  • Bonus: experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
  • Bonus: contributions to AI governance, internal AI platforms or experimentation frameworks.
