IT Security Architect

Description

The company has spent 125 years supplying clean energy and aims for a world that runs entirely on renewable power. Its Cyber Security Architecture team protects the business by applying security frameworks, standards, best practices and technical expertise. The team works closely with other security teams and external partners to strengthen secure IT services and architecture across the organisation.

In this role you will sit within the Cyber Security Architecture team and take on the following work.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve secure IT architectures and security services.
• Apply security frameworks, standards and best practices to IT initiatives.
• Make AI and cloud technology, specifically Azure, secure to use.
• Advise projects and day-to-day operations on security architecture.
• Help teams understand and meet their IT security requirements.
• Work with Governance, Risk and Compliance, incident response and other security specialists.
• Partner with internal and external parties to raise the company's security posture.
• Communicate and influence across the organisation to encourage secure architecture and working practices.

Requirements

• Experience with IT security architecture and secure IT services.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies and secure use of AI.
• Solid knowledge of security frameworks, standards and industry best practices.
• Deep technical understanding of IT security and architecture.
• Ability to turn security needs into clear architectural guidance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively across teams in a fast-changing, complex setting.
• A collaborative attitude and a willingness to build your security expertise.

Conditions

The role requires physical presence at the main office in Lilleaker, Oslo, Norway.

Applicants must be eligible for Norwegian security clearance and authorisation, as the company runs critical infrastructure and services in several countries.
