IT Operations Engineer

This role provides a range of IT support, including connectivity, hardware and software support, and end-to-end resolution of Field IT incidents and service requests. It also helps deliver Enterprise and Business Unit projects.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and support PCs, tablets, mobile devices, printers and specialized equipment.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot software.
• Remediate endpoint vulnerabilities in line with security standards.
• Take on planned and unplanned Enterprise and Business Unit project work.
• Run the Tech Hut and walk-up IT support.
• Handle PC lifecycle tasks: provisioning, refresh, disposal and asset management.
• Support local servers, network equipment and VoIP systems.
• Provide on-site Smart Hands support and liaise with third-party vendors and internal IT teams.
• Administer mobile devices locally.
• Support IT procurement for hardware and related services.
• Manage access permissions, including network share access.
• Keep local IT security compliance in place, including setting up, maintaining and controlling access to the communications room.
• Help the compliance and audit teams with required IT audits.
• Support satellite offices, travelling when required.
• Manage and coordinate IT vendors at site or regional level.
• Deliver Field IT services against the defined Service Level Targets (SLTs) using the company's service management toolset.
• Communicate proactively with customers, take clear ownership of service, and keep the customer at the centre of your work.

Conditions

Support hours vary.

Satellite office work includes travel when required.

The posted salary range is $85,000-110,000, set by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity and market data.
