Description

The role is based in Budapest, Hungary, on a hybrid model with office attendance at least 3 days a week.

The company is a spinoff from MIT with headquarters in Somerville, Massachusetts, and offices in Germany, Hungary, Singapore, Israel and Japan. It builds a cloud-native, no-code platform that gives frontline industrial teams composable, connected apps with AI built in, aimed at improving manufacturing execution and traceability.

The company has received recognition including a World Economic Forum Global Innovator designation, a 2024 Deloitte Technology Fast award, and several Best Places to Work rankings.

Responsibilities

  • Run and improve identity and access management, including authentication policies, device trust, and automated onboarding and offboarding so access is accurate and timely.
  • Manage office network infrastructure across all offices, covering secure wireless, VPN and hardware, and put security controls in place for the network and connected systems.
  • Run the device management platform and keep configurations and policies consistent across device types through the full device lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain monitoring and alerts for identity, devices, network and core SaaS, with central alerting and runbooks that let any team member triage on their own.
  • Manage automation and infrastructure as code, using AI tools to cut repetitive work. Check backup coverage and write disaster recovery plans, including runbooks and tabletop exercises.
  • Own the IT roadmap from delivery through to updates for stakeholders. Handle support requests when needed, turn repeat problems into lasting fixes, and keep IT documentation up to date.
  • Work closely with the IT, TechOps and Security teams, and with Operations and People Ops partners.

Requirements

  • You are hands-on and service-minded, equally at home closing a support ticket or leading a strategic project.
  • You trace problems to their root cause and limit their impact fast.
  • You explain things clearly to both technical and non-technical colleagues, and you take projects from scoping through to delivery.
  • You are comfortable with AI and automation tools and can balance daily support with longer-term strategic work.
  • 4+ years in IT engineering, system administration or network management.
  • Solid grasp of identity and access management (single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, directory services, device trust) and enterprise device management on macOS, Windows and Linux.
  • Strong fundamentals in networking and security: enterprise Wi-Fi, VPN, network hardware and IT security best practices.
  • Experience with scripting, automation and AI tools.
  • Nice to have: infrastructure as code (for example Terraform), familiarity with a cloud platform such as AWS or Azure, or relevant networking, security or cloud certifications.
  • Nice to have: compliance experience (SOC 2, NIS2 or similar) and experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
