Intern - Yield Enhancement Engineer

Description

This is an internship as a yield enhancement engineer.

The company designs memory and storage products for the semiconductor industry, and the work centres on yield and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Study yield, defect and failure data to spot trends and outliers.
• Look into yield excursions and product failures to find root causes and fixes.
• Work with engineers on measurement accuracy, tool matching and data integrity.
• Help with defect characterization, failure analysis and correlation studies.
• Work with engineering teams to raise yield, quality and manufacturing output.
• Build dashboards, automation and data visualization tools.
• Carry one engineering effort through to the end and present findings when the internship finishes.
• Use AI-enabled tools and data methods to boost productivity and sharpen technical analysis in yield and failure work.
