Description

The company's client runs a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), and this role leads the program across all GSOC functions and teams.

You will own overall program performance, team management, client relationships, staffing, reporting and consistent, high-quality service delivery.

You will be the main client liaison and help the program keep pace with the client's global security requirements and business goals.

The ideal candidate has run large GSOC programs, led managers and distributed teams, managed enterprise client relationships and improved operations in complex corporate security environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the global GSOC program, holding operational leaders accountable so every function is effective and delivers consistent service.
  • Oversee program performance, staffing, operational readiness and service delivery, keeping 24/7 global coverage and the client's expected standards in place.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and relationship manager for the client, building strong ties with key stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Run regular client meetings, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and executive presentations covering performance, operational initiatives, challenges and strategic goals.
  • Set up and track program KPIs, service-level expectations, operational metrics and team performance, and report on them.
  • Handle incoming client requests and requirements, working with internal leaders and operations managers to deliver and resolve them on time.
  • Manage program staffing, including new position requests, recruiting coordination, backfills, personnel changes and removals, working with the client and internal teams.
  • Find ways to make operations more efficient, tighten processes, improve service delivery and grow GSOC capabilities.
  • Keep communication and coordination flowing across GSOC functions, internal leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Spot program risks, operational problems and service gaps early, then design and carry out fixes.
  • Drive the growth and maturity of the GSOC program so it keeps matching the client's changing requirements and global security objectives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in GSOC operations, corporate security, security program management or a related field.
  • 3+ years running large security operations teams or enterprise security programs, ideally in global organizations.
  • Experience leading managers, supervisors or team leads across several operational functions.
  • Proven record as the primary client relationship manager for enterprise security programs.
  • Experience with staffing models, headcount planning and resource allocation.
  • Strong track record building and presenting KPIs, operational reports, QBRs and executive presentations.
  • Excellent communication, organization and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work well with senior leaders and operational teams.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities on your own and stay accountable for program performance, client satisfaction and service delivery.
