Description

The company combines AI research, simulation and robotics to build general-purpose robots that work in the real world.

The team's hiring and scaling depend on finding, hiring and onboarding strong people. Today that work runs into scattered data, repetitive steps, disconnected tools and processes that slow down as the company grows.

You would build the software and automations to fix those gaps. Your users are recruiters, hiring managers, the People team and employees. You would work with them directly, pick the highest-impact problems, ship useful tools and measure the results. The goal is better candidate reach, faster movement and more time for the decisions and conversations that matter.

Responsibilities

  • Build recruiting tools that widen reach and improve relevance, including workflows for talent mapping, research, enrichment and rediscovering candidates already in the network. Help recruiters turn scattered information into useful context.
  • Run measurable growth experiments with Recruiting across sourcing channels, outreach, referrals and candidate nurture. Track qualified conversations and downstream conversion.
  • Build integrations across Ashby, the People systems and collaboration tools using APIs, webhooks and reliable data pipelines.
  • Automate People workflows such as onboarding, employee requests, lifecycle handoffs and recurring reports. Make the right action easy and ownership clear.
  • Create trusted datasets and dashboards that reveal where candidates stall, where teams lose time and whether a change actually helps.
  • Build and evaluate AI-assisted research, retrieval, summarization and workflow support. Keep outputs easy to verify and keep people accountable for hiring and employee decisions.
  • Take tools from prototype to daily use with testing, monitoring, documentation and access controls. Stay close to users and keep improving what you ship.

Requirements

  • You have built and shipped software, internal tools or growth systems that people use.
  • You code confidently in Python or TypeScript/JavaScript, write SQL and integrate APIs.
  • You can turn a vague operational problem into a small, useful first version and iterate.
  • You work in experiments: define the problem, set a baseline, ship a change and check the result.
  • You have built with LLMs and know how to evaluate output quality and handle failures.
  • You care about adoption and reliability as much as the first build.
  • You work well with nontechnical teammates and handle candidate and employee data carefully.
  • Bonus: you have worked on recruiting technology, People systems, growth engineering or revenue operations tooling.
  • Bonus: you have built integrations with Ashby or another ATS, CRM or HRIS.
  • Bonus: you have worked with public research and developer data such as papers, citations or GitHub profiles.
  • Bonus: you have combined custom code with tools like n8n, Make or Zapier.
  • Bonus: you have been an early builder at a startup and owned tools from first idea through ongoing maintenance.
