  • Take an active part in writing emergency response plans with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Help carry out qualitative and quantitative risk assessments to size operations.

  • Support payload safety submissions together with the mission management team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in aerospace, safety, systems, mechanical or nuclear engineering, or a closely related technical field.
  • At least 5 years in safety engineering, risk management, operations engineering, launch operations, defence, aviation, chemical processing, oil and gas, or another high-hazard industry.
  • Experience preparing hazardous operations involving propellants, explosives, pressurised systems, cryogenics or hazardous materials.
  • Experience running risk assessments and safety reviews in complex technical settings.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks and safety management systems.
  • A solid grasp of emergency preparedness and incident response.
