Description

Responsibilities

  • Own features end to end across frontend, backend and data layers.
  • Build accessible, maintainable features in a React and TypeScript application and connect them to backend APIs.
  • Design and implement Java services, REST endpoints, business rules and data access code for rebate workflows.
  • Work with SQL-backed and document data, including schema changes and migrations.
  • Contribute to accrual processing and troubleshoot data correctness and performance issues in distributed jobs.
  • Write unit, integration and end-to-end tests, review code and investigate production issues.
  • Work with the team to improve build, deployment and observability workflows.
  • Make sound technical decisions together with teammates and help ship reliable changes to production.

  • Strong Java skills and hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Working knowledge of SQL, API design and automated testing.
  • Ability to deliver well-scoped work on your own and collaborate across application, data and deployment boundaries.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development is strongly preferred, especially using GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar tools in a professional engineering workflow.
  • Experience with any of: Spring Boot, Dropwizard, JDBI, Liquibase, Microsoft SQL Server or Azure Cosmos DB.
  • Experience with any of: Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm or other Azure services.
  • Experience with any of: Databricks, Delta Lake or data-intensive financial calculations.
  • Experience with any of: Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or JUnit.
