  • Preferred: Level 4 with 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • Preferred: a Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science, plus 5+ years of related work experience; or a bachelor's degree plus 9+ years of directly related work experience; or 13+ years of related, relevant experience.
  • Preferred: experience with one or more of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JS frameworks such as REACT and Open Layers, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RDBMS, NoSQL, and REST/Open API.
  • Preferred: experience with Agile or SAFe, including daily standups, user stories, sprints and release planning.
  • Preferred: familiarity with test-driven development, agile software development, DevSecOps, and CI/CD management.
  • Preferred: experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI to automate builds, tests and deployments.
  • Preferred: hands-on work with middleware, especially Java Message Service (JMS) and WebLogic, including designing, implementing and troubleshooting messaging solutions.
  • Preferred: experience with dependency management and automation services such as Ivy, Maven, Gradle, Git and Jenkins.
  • Preferred: experience with RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) data systems.
  • Preferred: experience writing and running unit, integration and system test cases to confirm software meets specifications for function and performance.
