Full Stack Software Developer - TS/SCI w/Polygraph

This is a full stack software developer role focused on national security work, where you apply current technology and provide operational support.

Responsibilities

• Guide work across every phase of the software development lifecycle and share your knowledge with others.
• Lead developers and teams in building with Angular.
• Study user and business needs and how the software should function, then plan and design systems to meet them.
• Create advanced models and diagrams that show programmers the code an application needs.
• Write analysis reports on software project specifications, activities, or status.
• Help keep the mission running without interruption.
• Solve complex IT issues and deliver strong customer service.
• May mentor less-experienced analysts and direct their work.
• May consult across multiple programs or contracts within a division.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience, including software development with AWS and Angular.
• A BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Angular and Java.
• Ability to build and deliver solutions in a distributed team.
• Experience on a SCRUM team that follows the Lean Agile Framework.
• Routine quality assurance work, such as peer reviews.
• Experience with Git and Jenkins.
• Proven experience designing and developing web services.
• Background in DevOps, automated testing and continuous integration pipelines.
• Familiarity with Linux environments.
• Ability to turn formal and informal system requirements into complex application interfaces.
• Knowledge of JDBC, ODBC or direct database interfaces, which is required for this work.
• Must currently hold TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Preferred: experience building microservices.
• Preferred: experience on a government customer architecture or engineering board.
• Preferred: experience implementing AWS cloud solutions.
• Preferred: experience with automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: experience with distributed data architectures.
• Preferred: experience explaining technical topics to non-technical people.
• Preferred: experience developing Puppet modules and Terraform.
• Preferred: keeping up with industry trends and new development to maintain current skills and standards.
• Preferred: hands-on experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Preferred: familiarity with AWS services and working in an AWS environment.
• Preferred: experience with ETL tools.

Conditions

Onsite in Herndon, VA, USA.

Scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Travel is less than 10% of the time.

US citizenship is required.

The likely salary range is $161,500 to $218,500. This is not a guarantee. Pay is set by experience and geographic location, may reflect contractual requirements, and could fall outside this range.
