Full-Stack Software Developer (Java / React) (EN-IM-CAP-2026-245-GRAE)

Description

The engineering information management group at the company is hiring a full-stack developer to design, build and maintain software that supports engineering and information management work.

The applications help domain experts assess intervention risks and approve access to the company's facilities. About 600 interventions are declared each week, and the systems give daily access to thousands of people who depend on them for their safety.

The stack includes React, Java Spring Boot, Oracle and BPMN. The team is small and focused, works in Agile, puts strong weight on clear communication, and stays closely engaged with its users.

The company is a European research organisation working at the edge of science and technology. Its workforce includes physicists as well as engineers, technical, scientific and administrative staff. Diversity has been a core value since it was founded.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain applications using Java, React and Oracle.
• Work with engineers and IT specialists to define requirements and deliver solutions.
• Protect software quality through testing, debugging and performance tuning.
• Take part in Agile practices as a member of the team.

Requirements

• Experience building web applications with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue JS, together with a Java back-end.
• Working familiarity with Java, React and Oracle databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a habit of learning proactively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an international environment.
• Willingness to learn processes specific to the company, such as safety and access.
• Fluent spoken and written English, and a commitment to learning French.
• Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) would be a plus.

40 hours per week, fully onsite.

You must be a national of a the company Member or Associate Member State.

At the application deadline, you may have no more than two years of professional experience since graduation in computer science, electrical engineering or a related field, and your highest qualification must be a Bachelor's or Master's degree.

You must never have held a the company fellow or graduate contract before.
