Full Stack Java/React Technical Lead - Vice President

Description

This senior role sets up and puts in place new or revised application systems and programs with the Technology team, and leads application systems analysis and programming work.

Responsibilities

• Guide the team by example in applying agile practices to software delivery.
• Act as the link between the development manager and the scrum team.
• Coach and mentor team members and clear the obstacles they face.
• Manage stakeholders, work with them on the roadmap, releases and milestones, and answer for delivery.
• Make sure the team meets its sprint deliverables.
• Ensure the team follows strong engineering standards, including across DevOps and SRE.
• Act as second-level reviewer for application design and implementation.
• Review test plans and cases to confirm adequate coverage and product quality.
• Own the success of releases.
• Serve as the single point of contact for L3 production incidents: troubleshoot, run root cause analysis and fix issues permanently.
• Create frameworks, designs, data models and architecture diagrams, and share them within and outside the team.
• Design and build Generative AI models, such as LLMs, GANs, VAEs and diffusion models, in Python using deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Add Generative AI capabilities to existing systems and build new AI-powered applications.
• Balance team capacity while still writing code on stories as a developer.

Requirements

• 6+ years of full stack software engineering, building applications for large enterprises.
• Strong skill building web applications with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, Angular or React, and Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Proven hands-on work with Generative AI models, including large language models or other generative architectures.
• Proficient in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or JAX.
• Experience with Google ADK or similar Google AI/ML platforms and SDKs.
• Strong experience with enterprise integration through RESTful APIs, Kafka messaging and similar tools.
• Deep experience with Elasticsearch, NoSQL databases and caching solutions.
• Skill in designing and tuning software for performance and stability.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Deep site reliability engineering expertise.
• Strong practice of test-driven development.
• Deep knowledge of authentication, authorization and security.
• Familiarity with AWS, and readiness to move applications, services and data to AWS.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent work experience.

Conditions

Full-time position based in Irving, Texas, United States.

Base salary range is $125,760.00 to $188,640.00.

Eligible employees may also receive discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
