Full Stack Java Developer (French Speaker)

You will join a multidisciplinary Agile team that builds, supports, maintains and keeps improving business applications.

Your work covers the full delivery cycle, from requirements analysis through deployment to production support.

Responsibilities

• Take part in requirements analysis and discussions on solution design.
• Build, test and upkeep business applications.
• Handle enhancements, bug fixes and change requests for existing applications.
• Write technical documentation that follows project standards.
• Release applications to production and non-production environments.
• Grow your understanding of the functional and technical areas you are assigned.
• Work with several Agile squads depending on business priorities.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Java 11 through 21.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3, Spring Cloud and Spring Batch.
• Experience with Angular 17 to 21, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Working knowledge of Hibernate, Lombok and Liquibase.
• Experience with Kubernetes, HashiCorp Vault, Kafka and Kafka Connect.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Maven, Git, Jenkins and IntelliJ.
• Background in building web applications.
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
• Clear collaboration, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Professional-level French and English.
• Additional valued experience: experience in life insurance or banking.
• Additional valued experience: familiarity with AI-assisted development practices.
• Additional valued experience: willingness to travel within Portugal or abroad when required.
