Full-Stack Engineer (Python / React)

Description

The company is a Swedish telecommunications firm that operates internationally and serves millions of users. It works with global technology partners on cloud-native, data-driven modernization of enterprise connectivity.

The team is building a Product Information Service, a cloud-native platform that manages product data and passes information reliably between systems through APIs and distributed integration.

You will join an international team and take part across the full development lifecycle, including architecture discussions, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

Key technologies: Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, GitLab CI, Microsoft Azure, REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and support the back end and front end of a web-based, data-intensive system.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs and integrations with internal platforms and services.
• Develop scalable applications and database solutions.
• Write clean, testable code that follows sound engineering practice.
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Review code and help write technical documentation.
• Work with stakeholders, engineers, and product staff in regular meetings and planning sessions.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies: estimation, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Help improve system reliability, deployment automation, and performance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional Python development experience.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and React.
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and modern deployment methods.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and tools such as GitLab CI.
• Understanding of development best practices, testing approaches, and code quality standards.
• Upper-Intermediate English.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and within distributed teams.
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills.
• Proactive, with attention to quality and maintainability.
• Willingness to join technical discussions and continuous improvement efforts.
• A plus: experience with Next.js.
• A plus: experience with Microsoft Azure, especially AKS.
• A plus: familiarity with MCP and RAG-based systems.
