Responsibilities
- You will design system diagrams and program designs, then write, test, debug and document code.
- You will work in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting on software deployed for cyber operations.
- You will learn new technologies as needed and follow the software release process.
- You will collaborate with other developers on projects.
Requirements
- You need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college. Experience can be considered in place of a degree.
- You need an active Top Secret clearance.
- You need experience as a full stack web developer with a back end focus in Python.
- You need experience with RESTful APIs and modern DevOps practices.
- You need experience in the direct performance of a major program, project or activity involving computer software development.
- You need an understanding of software engineering principles such as design, unit testing, continuous integration and deployment.
- Focus on web applications or databases is desirable.
- Experience with HTML5, JavaScript, Python, Django, Flask, Docker, Bottle or CSS is desired.
- Experience setting up code for CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous deployment) is desired.
- Experience or interest in learning cyber security, or previous CNO experience, is desired.
- Experience with SQL, basic database functions and database integration is desired.
- Experience with mobile hardware, software and operating systems is desired.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is desired.
Conditions
The role is based in Quantico, VA.
The annual salary is $210,000 to $230,000.
