Frontend QA Engineer

Description

You will join a tech hub inside the wider organization that values autonomy, learning, continuous improvement and shared ownership.

As the quality lead in your team, you will shape how testing is done, drive automation, and help the team ship reliable software with confidence.

You will partner with developers, product stakeholders and other engineers to make quality part of every delivery stage.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the team's testing approach for web applications and become the person others come to on testing questions in an agile setup.
• Make sure infrastructure, environments, browsers and test data are ready so tests run smoothly and reliably.
• Build and grow automated tests for web frontends, covering UI, components, end-to-end and cross-browser scenarios, plus the API integrations behind them.
• Work with developers, UX and product stakeholders to spot risks, clarify requirements and catch defects early.
• Investigate test failures and defects, help with root-cause analysis, and find recurring quality problems and ways to improve.
• Report testing insights, results and quality metrics to stakeholders so they can make informed release decisions.
• Help the team improve quality while keeping up delivery speed, through continuous testing and continuous delivery practices.

Requirements

• Experience in quality assurance and test automation for web applications, with a solid grasp of testing principles, test design techniques and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on work with web test automation frameworks such as Playwright, across levels like component, integration, visual regression and end-to-end testing.
• Programming experience in TypeScript/JavaScript or similar languages, and an interest in improving testing practices and automation coverage.
• Familiarity with API validation and mocking, test environments, test data management, and cross-browser and responsive testing.
• Nice to have: experience with Playwright, Cypress, accessibility testing, React or Angular, Jira Xray or GitLab CI.
• A collaborative, proactive approach to solving problems, and clear communication across functions.
• Fluent English.
