Description

The company is a tech hub inside a larger group, built around learning, autonomy, continuous improvement and shared ownership.

The role is the quality lead for your team: you shape testing practices, drive test automation and help ship reliable software with confidence.

You work day to day with developers, product stakeholders and other engineers to build quality into each stage of delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own and keep improving the team's testing approach for the iOS and Android apps, and become the main point of contact for testing in an agile setup.
  • Make sure testing can run reliably by getting infrastructure, devices, simulators and emulators, environments and test data ready.
  • Design, build and grow automated tests for the mobile apps, covering UI, integration and end-to-end testing, plus the underlying API integrations.
  • Work with developers and product stakeholders to spot risks, clarify requirements and catch defects early in the development lifecycle.
  • Analyse test failures and defects, help with root-cause analysis, and find recurring quality problems and areas to improve.
  • Share regular testing results, insights and quality metrics with stakeholders so they can make informed release decisions.
  • Help move Continuous Testing and Continuous Delivery forward so quality improves without slowing delivery.

Requirements

  • Background in software quality assurance and test automation for mobile apps, with a solid grasp of testing principles, test design techniques and risk-based testing.
  • Hands-on work with native mobile automation frameworks such as XCUITest and/or Espresso, across UI, integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Coding experience in Swift, Kotlin or a similar language, and an interest in improving testing practices and automation coverage.
  • Familiarity with real devices and simulators or emulators, API validation and mocking, test environments and test data management.
  • Nice to have: experience with XCUITest, Espresso, device farms, mobile CI/CD pipelines, Jira Xray or GitLab.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach to solving problems and the ability to communicate clearly across functions.
  • Fluent English.

Conditions

Applicants who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to apply.

Benefits

  • A strong team culture, from daily morning stand-ups to after-work drinks, with open feedback and support for personal growth.
  • Numerous other benefits beyond the team culture.
