Contract role for a Front Arena Developer and Platform Specialist, 100% workload, starting immediately for 12 months with possible extension. The contract runs through an external payroll partner.

The company is a wealth manager. The role supports the development and upkeep of its trading systems and sits in a team that works in an agile setup.

Responsibilities

• Help build and extend the Front Arena installation, its interfaces and internal tools.
• Gather requirements, then plan, build and test solutions in an agile SAFe environment.
• Give high-quality support to Front Arena users in Trading, Midoffice and Risk Office.
• Tackle complex problems, try out new approaches and keep improving how things work.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience maintaining and configuring Front Arena landscapes.
• Proven ability to tune performance and stability across Front Arena environments, including ADS, APS, AMBA, XMBA, TAB, APH, TAPS and MS-SQL.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Front Arena developer using Python, AEL and ACM. Knowledge of ADFL is a plus.
• Understanding of structured products issuance, trading and life-cycle management.
• Past experience working directly with traders on a trade floor.
• A degree in science, technology or engineering.
• Clear communication, the ability to set priorities and work well under pressure.
• An empathetic approach and strong customer service skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and a proactive, practical attitude as a team player.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
