You will build AI products for a company in life sciences and healthcare, working alongside the scientists, clinicians and business teams who use them.
The role runs from early discovery and quick prototypes through full product engineering, enterprise integration, deployment and ongoing improvement. You will stay hands-on in the code while shaping solutions with users.
Responsibilities
Work with business and domain colleagues to turn hard problems into AI product ideas with real value.
Build and test quick prototypes, then refine them through short cycles of building, showing users and learning from their feedback.
Create complete AI applications in Python and TypeScript, using React, foundation models and shared platform components.
Use AI-assisted coding tools and coding agents without compromising quality, security or long-term maintainability.
Build retrieval-augmented generation, document intelligence, agentic workflows and automation for life sciences use cases.
Connect AI products to enterprise APIs, data platforms, identity services and approved business systems.
Deploy secure, reliable applications on AWS, using Amazon Bedrock and suitable cloud services.
Set up automated testing, evaluation, observability and CI/CD, and keep the product sustainable to run.
Build privacy, security, traceability, human oversight and suitable controls into every stage of the product lifecycle.
Track adoption and business results, and turn what works into reusable capabilities for future AI products.
Requirements
You have 8-12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years building and shipping production software.
You have owned applications or products from problem discovery through deployment, adoption and continuous improvement.
You are strong in Python and can build complete, production-ready applications, not only notebooks, prompts or model endpoints.
You have working-to-advanced experience with TypeScript, JavaScript and React, building functional, usable interfaces.
You have solid engineering basics: APIs, data modelling, databases, authentication, testing, containers and cloud deployment.
You have hands-on experience with CI/CD, building maintainable solutions for production environments.
