Forward Deployed Engineer – ServiceNow, Bratislava

This is a Lead or Principal level architect role as a Forward Deployed Engineer, focused on Service Operations on the ServiceNow platform.

The team pairs forward-deployed engineers, tech experts and AI agents with client business units to design, build and scale AI platforms, and it works with leading technology and AI providers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end design and build of complex Service Operations solutions on the platform.
• Work on site with key clients, or sit inside their teams, to solve hard architecture problems and make sure the platform succeeds.
• Check delivery quality and best practices, and keep technical standards high across Service Operations projects.
• Coach senior and junior consultants in the local and regional delivery teams.
• Work with sales and domain leads on presales, including designing tailored solutions, answering RFPs and running technical demos for C-level audiences.
• Be the main technical contact and trusted advisor for strategic accounts, linking business needs to what the platform can do.
• Help grow the business locally and expand the local footprint.
• Work closely with regional platform representatives and internal domain leads across Central Europe.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience on the platform, including work as an Architect or Lead/Principal Consultant.
• Experience running discovery workshops, writing solution proposals and presenting to senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Certifications: ServiceNow System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules, and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Fluent English.
• Project management skills.
• A consultative approach, with experience leading stakeholder workshops to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Presales experience, including helping scope projects, estimating effort and writing Statements of Work (SOW).
• Clear communication, with the ability to explain complex ideas and technical designs.
• Strong leadership and the ability to manage other technical experts.

Conditions

Based in Bratislava, with a hybrid work model and flexible working hours.

Salary up to 5000€, depending on seniority and experience.

5 weeks of vacation per year and 4 "My Days" per year.
