Flight Test Ground Station Software Developer Eurodrone Program

Description

The company is the company Defence and Space SAU, and the role is a permanent position in the Flight Test Ground Station Department, part of the Eurodrone program.

The department owns the ground hardware and the ground and onboard software needed for flight test work. It also runs the IT systems and general software in the Test Center Organization.

Much of the work is building software for the ground station and test frameworks, and industrializing tools requested by the Test Center.

Responsibilities

• Build software applications for the Flight Test Ground Station and the test frameworks.
• Work with flight test management tools.
• Develop software for multiplatform environments.
• Build web-based software architectures, including cloud-based applications.
• Design and plan the future evolution of the software.
• Coordinate work across countries and lead the creation of a new framework for test data analysis.
• Coordinate with the Flight Test Means Integrator and the Test Center Integrator.
• Take part in development, product ownership and work with the final customer.
• Create a development framework that lets the software configuration evolve with new equipment and requirements.

Requirements

• Have at least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Hold an engineering degree.
• Have built agile and high-performance software in several languages, and C++, Python,.NET, C or Java is essential.
• Use AI tools to raise your productivity.
• Adapt quickly to new software architectures, especially the move from desktop to cloud or on-premise solutions.
• Have experience integrating with CI/CD environments.
• Speak English at a professional level.
• Show an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Negotiate and communicate well within a multinational, multicultural team.
