  • Design and build simulators of satellite subsystems for HITL and SITL environments.
  • Write reusable device drivers, interfaces, and communications protocol libraries for flight hardware.
  • Review code and take part in flight software architecture discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.

  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS/SCI clearance.
  • Preferred: Master's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 2 - 4 years developing and/or producing flight software for space applications.
  • Preferred: Demonstrated discipline with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with embedded Linux.
  • Preferred: Comfortable with typical embedded systems tools, compilers, debuggers, and IDEs.
  • Preferred: Broad experience with microcontrollers, application processors, and revision control systems.
  • Preferred: Strong debugging skills using instruments such as oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers.
  • Preferred: Application experience in areas such as robotics, automation, motor control, and sensor fusion.
