Description

The company builds infrastructure for AI and data-heavy applications, with open source at its core. Customers run its platforms on-premises, in the cloud, at the edge or in data centers.

The role owns field marketing planning and delivery across EMEA. You will work with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Partner Marketing and the global field team to shape programs that bring target accounts into conversations, create meetings and pipeline, and help deals move forward.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver EMEA field programs that fit global go-to-market goals and regional Sales targets.
  • Keep the EMEA events and field calendar current, juggling several programs, timelines and stakeholders at once.
  • Work with Sales to choose target accounts, territory priorities and deal opportunities.
  • Run conferences, trade shows, networking sessions, executive dinners, VIP experiences, partner events and brand activations from start to finish.
  • Write event briefs and backward timelines, and handle logistics, staffing, registration, booths, merchandise, shipping and onsite running.
  • Manage event organizers, venues, agencies and vendors, including contracts, purchase requests, invoices and deliverables.
  • Support events onsite and travel to domestic and international events as needed.
  • Align with Sales on territories, accounts and commercial goals, and bring in SDR leaders when events need them.
  • Drive engagement with target accounts, meetings and pipeline together with Sales and Demand Generation.
  • Coordinate outreach and lead handoff with Sales and Demand Generation, covering targeting, marketing automation and lead nurturing.
  • Own field assets such as invitations, landing pages, event briefs and onsite materials.
  • Work with partners and channel teams on joint programs, adapting global campaigns for EMEA markets.
  • Collect EMEA market and customer insight to inform global marketing and regional go-to-market priorities.
  • Track engagement, meetings, pipeline and ROI, keep Salesforce data accurate and report on results.
  • Manage assigned budgets, monitor spend and recommend program optimizations.
  • Use AI tools and automation to cut repetitive work and make the team's operations more efficient.
  • Apply AI to content, event planning, research, analysis and reporting, keeping accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Find process improvements through practical AI and automation use, and share what works with the wider marketing team.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in field marketing, event marketing or a similar role.
  • Required: B2B technology experience, ideally in SaaS, cloud, AI, infrastructure or developer-focused products.
  • Track record of independently running several events or field programs from planning through execution.
  • Strong project management, organization, communication and stakeholder management skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Commercial mindset and a clear understanding of how field marketing contributes to pipeline and sales.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally, including occasional US travel.
  • Preferred: demand generation or ABM experience.
  • Preferred: experience working across multiple EMEA markets.
  • Preferred: experience with Salesforce and other marketing automation platforms.
  • Preferred: additional European or Asian language skills.

Conditions

Work from a UK office at least one day per week, preferably London.

Flexibility to work across EMEA and US time zones when needed.

Travel to domestic and international events as required, including occasional US travel.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package with a strong benefits plan.
  • Work with an established Silicon Valley leader in cloud infrastructure.
  • Work alongside talented, engaging colleagues who help Fortune 500 and Global 2000 customers adopt next-generation cloud technologies.
  • Contribute to open-source innovation.
  • Join a young company where openness, collaboration, risk-taking and continuous growth are valued.
