Description

This is a part-time event programming role for the US division of a live entertainment company, reporting to the Event Programming Operations Manager.

The role is 20 hours per week and includes weekends and evenings. It is event programming, not event planning, so read the requirements closely before applying.

The Field Operations team keeps long-term client relationships, learns how each client runs its business, makes sure their goals are met, and helps them use the company's products and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build new events in the Host system and update existing events when clients send work requests.
  • Collect and review event data, enter it accurately, check the results, and fix any event errors you find.
  • Work with clients, promoters, and internal teams such as marketing, accounting, customer service, event operations, support, and client support when setting up events and sharing event details.
  • Build and maintain relationships with your assigned clients.
  • Meet or beat the Event Management service level agreements.
  • Take on other tasks from the Senior Event Specialist, the EM Manager, or the Regional Director of Event Management when needed.
  • Use the Host applications, EventPro, EMT, and the TM1 suite.

Requirements

  • Have 1 to 3 years of experience with a ticketing system or in a related field, with working knowledge of the company's system.
  • Be comfortable with computers and have strong data entry skills.
  • Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule that includes some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.
  • Be service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Handle several priorities at once.
  • Use creativity, judgment, and problem solving when needed.
  • Pay close attention to detail.
  • Understand the entertainment business in general.
  • Preferred: a bachelor's degree (BA or BS).
  • Preferred: box office experience.
  • Preferred: knowledge of how the company's departments affect each other and outside clients.

Conditions

Part-time, 20 hours per week, including weekends and evenings.

The schedule must allow some Saturdays, evenings, and holidays.

The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Benefits

  • Health: medical, vision, dental, and mental health coverage for you and your family, access to a health care concierge, and flexible spending or health savings accounts (FSA or HSA).
  • Personal: free concert tickets and generous paid time off, including paid holidays, sick time, and personal days.
  • Financial: 401(k) with company match and a stock reimbursement program.
  • Family: new parent programs including caregiver leave, plus fertility, adoption, foster, or surrogacy support.
  • Career: development programs through School of Live, tuition reimbursement, and student loan repayment.
  • Community: volunteer time off and a crowdfunding match.
