ESG Data Architect

Description

Sustainability is central to the company's strategy. Managing goals across many markets is complex and needs accurate, complete ESG performance data to stay on track.

The ESG services group is the go-to source for ESG data. The Warsaw team includes ESG data and solution architects, operations staff, engineers and product managers.

You will design, build and run the data architecture that supports business goals. That covers data models, data standards, and keeping data accurate, secure and available across systems. You will turn business needs into workable solutions alongside developers, data engineers, analysts, experts and business leaders.

Location: Warsaw, Plant & Go.

Responsibilities

• Profile data sources to discover what exists, and set milestones on a data architecture roadmap.
• Review existing code and produce normalized, scalable designs in diagrams.
• Turn data requirements into data models and source-to-target mappings.
• Write and keep current the data architecture documentation.
• Map data flows and the relationships between layers in ETL and ELT processes.
• Spot and fix data problems on your own initiative.
• Work with developers, data engineers, subject matter experts and business stakeholders.
• Write SQL that gives the development team a base to build on.
• Advise management on data architecture recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years in data architecture or data engineering, with a strong track record.
• Confident writing and analyzing SQL queries.
• Interest in learning data modeling, data warehousing and the different types of databases.
• Careful, detail-oriented work.
