Description

This entry-level role supports the daily running of the enterprise architecture function. You will help organise architecture work, keep clear records of decisions and actions, and help build and apply architecture standards and guidance.

It suits someone with strong organisation, communication and analysis skills who wants a career in enterprise architecture. You will work alongside experienced architects and technology teams and see enterprise, solution, platform, data, integration, cloud, infrastructure and security architecture in practice.

You do not need prior architecture experience. Training, coaching and hands-on support will build your technical and professional knowledge.

The company works across automotive, commercial vehicles, aerospace and defence, energy, enterprise, telecoms, industrials and robotics, and medical technology. The team is international and multicultural.

Responsibilities

  • Organise architecture review meetings and make sure documentation, decisions and follow-up actions are handled.
  • Keep architecture governance documents, standards, principles and reference material up to date so technology work stays consistent.
  • Log architecture decisions, risks, technical debt, exceptions and action items, and escalate problems when needed.
  • Bring together architects, engineers, product owners, security, data and business stakeholders.
  • Run architecture forums, workshops, onboarding sessions and knowledge-sharing events.
  • Help create and maintain capability maps, roadmaps, transition plans and technology landscape documents.
  • Research technology trends, platforms, dependencies and chances to modernise, consolidate or reuse.
  • Write reports, presentations, architecture summaries and governance metrics for technical and non-technical readers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, information systems, business technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Clear interest in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, architecture governance and technology operating models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisation skills, with the ability to manage priorities, analyse information and spot key insights.
  • Strong written and spoken communication, including documentation, reports, meeting notes and presentations for varied audiences.
  • Able to work well with technical and business stakeholders in global, cross-functional and matrixed settings.
  • Basic grasp of enterprise technology areas: cloud, data, integration, infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital workplace, APIs and software delivery.
  • Familiarity with frameworks, methods and tools such as TOGAF, capability mapping, process modelling, LeanIX, Ardoq, Bizzdesign or Enterprise Architect is advantageous.
  • Experience from internships, academic projects or early-career work in technology, business analysis, project coordination or product delivery, plus exposure to platforms such as Azure, AWS, SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow or Microsoft 365. Foundation-level certifications are a plus.

Conditions

Based at Grand Canal Dock, which is well served by DART trains, buses and bike-sharing.

Benefits

  • Competitive benefits package that supports your family, physical health and mental health.
  • Personal holidays, healthcare, pension and a tax saver scheme.
  • Free onsite breakfast and lunch.
  • Discounted corporate gym membership.
  • Opportunities for internal and external training and coaching, including certifications.
  • Professional growth and development in an international setting.
  • Recognition for innovation and excellence.
