The business processes billions of pounds of payments each year for UK businesses.

The business is becoming an independent fintech after a strategic partnership with a global asset manager, with a focus on new ideas, expansion and better results for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Write and ship high-quality software using current languages, frameworks and tools, keeping code scalable, maintainable and fast.
  • Work with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements, choose solution approaches and make sure the pieces fit business goals.

  • Advise senior and functional leaders on impact and alignment, and assess and mitigate risk within the control and governance framework.
  • Take ownership of risk and controls in your team's work.
  • Understand how the organisation operates and keep up with business activity and strategy.
  • Build trusted partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, using influence and negotiation to reach business goals.
  • Compare and select complex options through in-depth analysis, and use research to solve problems.
