Endpoint Automation Engineer

The company is a luxury group with several houses making jewelry, watches and high-end accessories. Each house keeps its own style, quality standards and heritage, while also creating new products through ongoing design work.

The role sits in the Connectivity and Workplace Endpoint Solutions team inside Group Technology.

You will work with global IT teams to build automation and service improvements across a worldwide IT environment. The work covers designing and building automation, custom applications, better operational processes, and secure, scalable services for the digital workplace.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support automation solutions and custom applications.
• Build and maintain full-stack applications and software packages.
• Write and maintain scripts in PowerShell and Python.
• Support application deployment, troubleshooting and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor services, infrastructure and automation platforms for reliability and performance.
• Drive continuous improvement, product enhancements and process optimisation.
• Work with cross-functional IT teams on secure, scalable solutions.
• Write and keep up technical documentation, and share knowledge across teams.
• Promote automation services and best practices across the organisation.
• Take part in problem, change and service improvement work.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in software development, automation engineering or a similar IT role.
• Experience in enterprise or international environments is highly valued.
• Working knowledge of ITSM and ITIL, including incident, problem and change management.
• Solid experience in at least two of the technology areas below, listed in priority order. PowerShell and/or Python is mandatory.
• Web: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript, React.
• Automation platforms: UiPath, Power Platform, others.
• Scripting: PowerShell and/or Python (mandatory), Pester.
• AWS and Infrastructure as Code: Lambda, EC2, RDS, Terraform.
• Microsoft ecosystem: SQL database, SharePoint Online, Dataverse, Exchange.
• Development workflow: GitLab, JIRA.
• Operating systems: Windows Server, Windows 10-11, macOS, iOS.
• Tools: PSAppDeployToolkit for software deployment.
• Endpoint management: Intune, Workspace ONE, Tanium, Cortex XDR, GPOs.
• You are collaborative and values-driven, with strong communication, customer service, analytical and organisational skills. You can work effectively in an international setting, challenge existing processes, and work independently while asking for help when needed.
