Digital Marketing Intern

Description

The company runs a marketplace for buying and selling special objects, with more than 100,000 unique items auctioned each week.

Items are selected by in-house experts, and over 25 million unique objects have sold through the platform.

It is a growing, diverse and sustainable scale-up, and its 800+ strong team represents 60+ nationalities.

Responsibilities

• Help carry out marketing campaigns, from planning through to execution.
• Support the weekly newsletters and the setup of campaign automations.
• Look after the CRM support channel and answer questions from other departments.
• Assist with A/B test analyses and post-campaign reviews.
• Work across email, app push notifications, in-app pop ups, the web and app notification centre, and platform banners.

Requirements

• Be driven and self-motivated, with strong attention to detail.
• Enjoy generating creative ideas and be comfortable working with numbers.
• Have an interest in project management and in running campaigns day to day.
• Communicate well.
• Bring a can-do attitude, a willingness to work hard and flexibility.
• Be comfortable with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Gemini, and with G Suite tools such as Google Sheets.
• Be available to start as soon as possible.
• Nice to have: some understanding of email marketing. This is not a requirement.

Conditions

You must be registered as a student at a Dutch university for the entire internship period.

A tripartite agreement will be requested.

This is a hybrid internship with regular presence at the Amsterdam city-centre office, an easy-going office in the heart of the city.

Most staff work hybrid, with a minimum of two days per week in the office, unless a role is stated as fully remote or fully office-based.

The company has offices in Amsterdam and Lisbon.

AI tools may help review applications, but recruitment staff always make the hiring decisions.
