DEXIS IoT Data Analyst-Global (Quakertown, PA)

Description

You will work with data from connected DEXIS equipment installed around the world to find insights that help customers, sharpen sales efforts, and grow revenue.

You will work with Engineering, Product Management, Commercial Operations, Sales Leadership, and Customer Support to turn IoT data into automated reports, dashboards, and forecasts.

You will spot trends, define KPIs, and help the company make decisions based on data.

Responsibilities

• Study IoT equipment data to find trends and opportunities that improve customer experience, operations, and revenue.
• Use AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics tools to query and analyze very large datasets on cloud platforms such as AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar enterprise environments.
• Apply data engineering and programming skills to convert complex data into measurable business results and guide sales decisions.
• Build ETL and ELT pipelines for large volumes of IoT, device telemetry, and customer usage data, then work with subject matter experts to find trends, customer outcome gains, support improvements, and revenue openings.
• Use AI and machine learning tools to produce insights faster, automate workflows, and support better business decisions.
• Work with Engineering, Product, Sales, Commercial Operations, and Customer Support to shape business needs into data solutions and recommendations.
• Combine and analyze data from IoT, CRM, ERP, and business intelligence systems to strengthen reporting and decisions.
• Run root cause analyses and recommend changes to processes, customer engagement, and commercial growth.
• Check data quality through validation, anomaly detection, and ongoing governance.
• Set, track, and report performance metrics that show the impact of IoT-driven projects.
• Handle ad hoc analysis requests and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders worldwide.
• Help build predictive and proactive insights that reveal customer needs and revenue opportunities.
• Travel up to 10% when business needs require it.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience is considered.
• 3 to 5 years in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or commercial operations.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience analyzing large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with CRM systems.
• Experience supporting global stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Customer Support.
• Preferred: experience with IoT or connected-device data.
• Preferred: experience in the medical device or dental industry.
• Preferred: experience with commercial analytics and revenue-growth insights.
• Preferred: experience with predictive analytics or AI.
• Preferred: experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or related technologies for data processing, automation, and advanced analytics.

Conditions

Based in Quakertown, PA.

Pay range: $108,900 - $133,100. Actual pay depends on factors such as location, skills, education, certifications, experience, performance, and business needs. The range is not adjusted for the geographic differential of the location where the role is filled. It is not typical to hire at or near the top of the range.

The range covers base pay only for field sales roles, excluding incentive pay.
