Developer (multiple positions available)

Description

The company is hiring for several Developer positions at its Palo Alto, CA location. You will help build, run and improve enterprise applications that are scalable, secure and reliable.

The company builds enterprise applications and business AI for finance, procurement, HR, supply chain and customer experience. It has been doing this for more than 50 years, and its software reaches more than 20 industries and 80% of commerce worldwide.

The team works on distributed systems, cloud infrastructure and customer-facing platforms. The posting date is 10/26/26.

Responsibilities

• Design applications that are scalable, secure and high-performing, and write clean, maintainable, well-documented code.
• Develop, test, deploy and maintain applications that meet business goals and user needs, and review others' code.
• Work with product, design and cloud operations teams to define, design and release new features.
• Automate and improve the software delivery process, including testing at several levels, so that reliable releases can ship often.
• Troubleshoot, debug and enhance applications to improve performance and security, including root cause analysis and preventive fixes for customer issues.
• Deliver implementation work that follows specifications and project plans, including requirements analysis, design documentation and error analysis.
• Extend, modify or adapt existing designs, and sometimes help build new subsystems.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, plus five (5) years of progressive experience after the degree in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Or hold a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field, plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Have three (3) years of experience with Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Have three (3) years of experience designing and building distributed microservices with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js or Express.js, and Python.
• Have three (3) years of experience designing and implementing enterprise micro-frontend platforms with React.js, Angular, and TypeScript or JavaScript.
• Have three (3) years of experience building secure enterprise integration systems that connect internal platforms to external services using REST or GraphQL APIs, OAuth2 authentication, TLS encryption and enterprise identity management.
• Have three (3) years of experience operating AWS and Azure, including EC2, S3, RDS and Terraform for automated infrastructure deployment at scale.
• Have three (3) years of experience deploying and managing containerized distributed services with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Have three (3) years of experience building enterprise data persistence layers on relational databases, including Oracle, PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Have three (3) years of experience designing workflow orchestration platforms that automate business processes with event-driven architecture on Kafka.
• Have three (3) years of experience leading software platform delivery, including system architecture, engineering planning and code reviews.
• Have three (3) years of experience with Agile frameworks for iterative delivery, including sprint planning, system design and development cycles.

Conditions

Hybrid work model. Travel is not required.

Based in Palo Alto, CA.

The annual base salary range is $172,369 to $206,460. The targeted combined range, including the variable incentive target, is $172,369 to $229,400.

The offer will fall within the range and depend on education, skills, experience, location, scope of the role and the selection process.

Any variable incentive has a target amount, and actual payouts depend on company and individual performance. Variable incentive and benefits details are subject to the relevant plans and policies.
