This Delivery Solutions Architect role supports sales and field engineering in growing platform use at existing customers. The focus is on large, complex accounts that have already chosen their workloads and need technical guidance to reach value and return on investment.

The role mixes technical and commercial work. You drive growth in assigned customers and use cases, build executive relationships, coordinate specialist teams, and set plans for colleagues to build on. You become the post-sale technical lead across all of the company's products and use your credibility to communicate at every level. You report to a DSA Manager in the Field Engineering organization.

Responsibilities

• Work with Solutions Architects to map the full use case demand for priority customers.
• Own the post-win technical plan and its execution for most use cases in the most strategic accounts.
• Act as the accountable technical lead for specific use cases and customers across several selling teams and internal stakeholders, guiding them through onboarding, enablement, go-live and healthy consumption.
• Be the first contact for technical questions or issues on production use cases, often across many use cases in the largest organizations.
• Draw on shared services, user education, onboarding and technical services, and support, and escalate to expert engineers for work beyond your scope.
• Form and drive a view on how key use cases can reach production, and coordinate Professional Services on engagement proposals.
• Work with product and engineering teams on new features, private previews and upgrades.
• Build one execution plan covering every customer-facing technical role across five streams: moving main use cases from win to production, user growth and enablement, product adoption toward the Lakehouse vision, ongoing needs such as cloud cost control and tuning, and executive and operational governance.
• Report usage and customer health through KPIs to the Technical GM, both internally and externally, covering investment status, key risks, adoption and use case progress.

Requirements

• 7+ years delivering technical projects or programs in data and AI, and able to take part in technical debate and design decisions with customers.
• Programming in Python, SQL or Scala.
• Customer-facing experience in pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success or consulting.
• Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
• Ability to tie business value and outcomes to specific project deliverables.
• Technical program or project management, including accountability for accounts, stakeholders and resources.
• Experience resolving complex, high-stakes escalations with senior customer executives.
• Experience running open-ended discovery workshops, building strategic roadmaps, doing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects through delivery.
• Track record of beating quotas, goals or similar measurable targets.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

Conditions

Locations: Vancouver, BC; Calgary, AB; Edmonton, AB; Toronto, ON; Montreal, QC.

Travel up to 30% when needed.

Canada pay range: $175,800 - $241,800 CAD. For non-commissionable roles this is the expected salary range, and for commissionable roles it is on-target earnings. Pay depends on job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and work location. The company expects to use the full width of the range.

The total package may also include eligibility for an annual performance bonus and equity, plus the benefits below.
