Description

The company is a major R&D centre with more than 800 engineers, producing over 150 inventions a year.

The site is the global headquarters for the Large Format Printing and 3D Printing business units, with work spanning software, firmware and hardware.

Sales, operations, marketing, supply chain, customer support and finance teams work alongside engineering to improve customer experience and processes.

The Analytics Enablement group builds the foundations that data, analytics and AI teams use to deliver secure, repeatable solutions, including data platforms such as Databricks and Posit, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and compliance, and MLOps tooling.

As an intern, you will work with the Platform and Infrastructure teams on planning and delivery and see how Agile works in a cloud-based technology group.

Responsibilities

  • Help the Scrum Master run stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives for the Platform and Infrastructure teams, using Agile and Scrum practices informed by SAFe, such as quarterly planning and dependency mapping.
  • Keep Jira and Confluence accurate and easy to follow, and build JQL filters and dashboards that show progress to teams and stakeholders.
  • Help refine the backlog so epics and stories are clear, properly sized and meet the Definition of Ready.
  • Track dependencies, risks and blockers across platform, cloud infrastructure and security work, and escalate them when needed.
  • Produce sprint metrics such as velocity, throughput and cycle time, and turn them into insights and improvement actions.
  • When capacity allows, support the Agile PM lead with milestone tracking, status reports, project documentation and stakeholder communications.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Understanding of Agile and Scrum roles, events and artifacts, and interest in scaled frameworks such as SAFe. Kanban is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence, including basic JQL for filters and dashboards.
  • Basic SQL and data literacy, with comfort working with data to build metrics and reports.
  • Good command of Excel and/or Power BI, or similar tools, for reporting and visualisation.
  • Curiosity about data platforms, cloud infrastructure and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Nice to have: basic scripting or automation, such as Python.
  • Clear, concise communication with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Facilitation skills and active listening.
  • Organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach: you spot blockers early and bring options.
  • Teamwork and diplomacy in an international, cross-functional environment.
  • Openness to feedback, adaptability and a growth mindset.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.

Conditions

You must be currently enrolled at a university in Spain, stay enrolled until the internship ends, and be eligible to sign an internship agreement with your university.

You must be available to start in February 2027 and stay in the programme until June or July 2027.

Choose a part-time agreement of 4 hours a day or a full-time agreement of 8 hours a day.

The internship lasts between 4 and 12 months.

Benefits

  • Paid internship at a global, technology-driven company.
  • An international work environment with chances to learn, develop professionally and network across teams.
  • An assigned mentor.
  • The option to join the company's graduate programme after the placement.
  • An intern community with career development workshops, learning sessions and social activities.
  • Lunch at reduced prices in the canteen.
  • Access to the on-site sports centre, with a gym, squash, tennis and basketball courts, and more than 25 organised sports and wellness activities, including HIIT, yoga and basketball.
  • Membership of the NextGen Employee Network, with regular events for early-career professionals.
  • On-site medical services, including a doctor, nutrition support, physiotherapy and general healthcare.
  • Free printing and hands-on workshops using the latest printing technologies, from large-format prints to 3D-printed models.
  • Free parking on site, or easy access by nearby train services.
  • Women Network initiatives covering networking, STEM promotion, business acumen, work-life balance and future-skills development.
