Valon

Data Implementation Manager

  • Remote
  • 3-6 years

Salary

$155,000 - 185,000/ year

Description

The company is an AI platform for mortgage servicing, building an AI-native operating system for regulated finance.

The company first built and ran its own mortgage servicer on its platform to prove the technology could replace the mainframe systems servicers have relied on for decades. Carrington later acquired that servicer and adopted ValonOS as its core platform, so the company could concentrate on growing its SaaS platform.

ValonOS is on track to power 1 in 6 U.S. mortgages across major servicers including Newrez, Carrington, and ServiceMac. Every process on the platform is structured and programmable, which lets AI agents handle core servicing tasks such as payments, escrow, and homeowner questions within the system's controls.

The company recently closed a $150 million Series D at a $2.3 billion valuation. Ribbit Capital led the round as a new investor, and a16z, an existing backer, continued to support the company.

The team is rebuilding mortgage servicing from the ground up. The Data Implementation Manager will coordinate and launch complex data deployment workstreams that change how mortgage servicers operate.

You will work across data, deployment strategy, engineering, and product teams, keep communication clear, and drive delivery of the company's most important initiatives.

  • Spot likely roadblocks and work to resolve technical, operational, and organizational issues that could affect delivery.
  • Set clear success metrics for programs, track progress regularly, and use the data to guide decisions.
