Description

You will join the data office at the company's international headquarters. That team sets the data strategy and governance, and runs data services and products for storing, processing, distributing, analysing and surfacing data across the business.

You will sit in the data governance team, which works to make the company's data reliable and easy to find while keeping it secure and compliant with regulations.

The company is a global games maker with teams around the world building original games.

Responsibilities

  • Help lead, plan, run and monitor one or more data governance initiatives and their sub-workstreams.
  • Help analyse what business and technology teams need from a data governance angle, then help identify and put in place suitable standards and solutions for the governance pillars you work on.
  • Get to know the data domain products and the underlying data assets, with support from business and data teams across the company.
  • Learn about and contribute to data protection work, such as data access management and regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with technical partners such as the data platform and architects to define and promote internal standards and best practices for designing and building data products, covering areas like modelling, architecture, access management, data quality, master data use and interoperability.
  • Build data teams' skills and awareness of data governance through knowledge sharing, events, coaching and mentoring, and by supporting the wider data culture among employees.
  • Track and report on the progress and results of your initiatives, and keep refining the framework, especially for the governance pillars you contribute to.
  • Follow data industry trends and bring them to the data department and practitioners across the company.
  • Build a network of support and expertise.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Master's degree, or have equivalent experience, in computer information systems, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
  • Have some experience with data, as a business analyst or project manager.
  • Want to lead, coordinate and deliver projects with many moving parts that span several business and technology teams.
  • Want to understand why data governance matters within a company.
  • Think critically and analytically.
  • Adapt quickly to change.
  • Have good interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
  • Communicate well in written and spoken English. French is optional but a plus.

Conditions

This is a 6-month internship starting March 2027.

The recruitment process starts with a phone call with the Campus Team to check whether the role fits your profile and what you are looking for.

If that call goes well, you will have an interview with your future manager, either on site or on Teams.

The final step is an interview with the director of the team.

Equal opportunity applies: the company hires without regard to gender, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, social status, disability or age, and works to build an inclusive workplace.

If you need adjustments during the recruitment process, especially for video interviews, say so in your application or contact the Handicap Mission team.

Benefits

  • Internship pay based on your level of study.
  • Meal voucher (Swile Card), 50% refund on your travel pass, and 1 day off per month.
  • Discounted tickets for concerts and shows, and access to the company gym at a reduced rate.
  • From your first days you attend a welcome session covering the company, its organisation and your working environment.
  • Your manager and team support you daily, especially in your first weeks.
  • Once you are working independently, you get varied tasks and real responsibility on live projects.
  • A dedicated Teams group connects you with other interns and apprentices.
